Ӷapp celebrate the success of their Apprentices
Ӷapp celebrated the success of their Apprentices at an Awards Evening on Wednesday 3rd October. Advanced and Intermediate Apprentices who had studied Agriculture, Horse Care, Veterinary Nursing, Horticulture and Arboriculture gathered with their employers, families and friends to recognise the achievement of the apprentices who completed their Awards during 2011/12.
Brighton based orchid expert John Haggar’s book published
This year, Brighton based orchid expert John Haggar’s work has come to fruition! The book “Growing Hardy Orchids”, for which he was a major contributor, has been published by Kew Books.
Ӷapp teaches Merseyside firemen about rescue of large animals
Ӷapp regularly provides a 4 day Large Animal Rescue Instructors course for fire brigades across the country. Last week members of the Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service attended a course at the College.
Foundation Degree student wins prize in a national competition
Lucy Partridge is currently studying on the Foundation Degree in Agriculture. She entered the RABDF Farm Health Management Award sponsored by Metacam as part of the farm animal health and welfare module, which forms part of her programme.
